Brett Strot Hockey Journey EP103

My next guest, Brett Strot, is a former teammate of mine when we played at the University of Minnesota together, and it's been so many years since we've connected. He quietly went about business after college, pursuing his hockey passion and carving out a pretty impressive 10-year professional career. His path took him to a lot of different destinations, finally landing in Florida, and finishing his playing career in Jacksonville.

His transition into coaching kept him in South Florida, where today, he's regarded as one of the top hockey development coaches in the United States. This sediment has been reinforced as he's got a long history with the USA Women's hockey program, being on the staff of teams that competed in the International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship, the IIHF Women's World Championship, the Four Nations Cup and was the Associate Head Coach of the 2018 Gold Medal USA Women's Olympic Team.

He's currently the president of Hockey International Developmental Training & Testing which has locations in Florida and Minnesota. Is the Owner of the Tampa Bay Juniors Hockey Program and is the creator of the stickhandling product "Ultimate Hockey Hands."

We'll start at the beginning and work our way through his life, ending with what he's doing today, and who's benefiting from his guidance and experiences. He's one of the smartest men in the game today and I know you're going to enjoy hearing his hockey journey. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy this episode and have a wonderfully, productive DAY :)
